The 24 Hour Cash Creation Template

By Rodney Washington

The 24 Hour Cash Creation Template

Having supported dozens of creative entrepreneurs and career changers over the last seven years to market their businesses I’ve discovered that I love helping people connect with their passions and locate new sources of income most of all.

In my experience the process can be quite easy when you have the following five things working for you.

  1. A clearly defined skill, product or service that a group of people is actively looking for and ready to purchase
  2. A plan to re-energize your offering by repackaging or retooling it in a fresh new way
  3. A list of people that you can get on the phone and speak with about your offering
  4. A willingness to “listen” to all feedback (this is key)
  5. An ability to ask for the sale.

Recently $100 Startup author, blogger, entrepreneur and world traveler Chris Guillebeau published a very inspiring blog post titled: How Can You Help Someone for Free? A Social Experiment. The request he made of his blog readers was simple:

Use your gifts, talents, resources to be of service to someone else. “No strings attached”!

After reading his latest post I became instantly inspired to see what I could offer to support my fellow creative entrepreneurs ~ no strings attached it’s that simple.

So here goes: I love helping my clients connect with their passions and find new sources of income, often hidden in plain sight.

It’s a service I regularly charge for but for 10 proactive people who leave a comment to this blog post. I will gift you a strategy session to help you connect with your passion and find additional sources of income based on your expertise gratis.

All you have to do is follow two simple steps:

  • Tell me a little about your existing business or job. It can be as simple as, “I currently sell or get paid to do this”.
  • What have you done or currently doing to let people know about your existing product or service? Again, it can be as simple as “I’ve set up a simple page on a blog with a Paypal button”

PS: (doesn’t matter if you’re new to business, been self employed for a while, or still in a job) that’s it!

Make sure to enter your website URL in the box where asked or you may email your answers.  If you’re one of the chosen ten I will gift you a copy of my 24 hour Cash Creation Template plus a complimentary 30 minute “Find More Money” Strategy Session via Live Ninja to work out the details! I look forward to hearing from you!

I am writer currently trying to build a business as a writer offering content generation, editing, proofreading and so forth. I have built a website for this business and also have a blog that I am keeping. I’ve shared the site on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter and I’m working to make these things viable as well as add other services. My big passion is music and one idea I am considering is a musical tour guide.

I am currently a U.S. government employee but have been reading a lot about entrepreneurship over the past year and feel that branching out on my own is my next challenge. My issue is pinpointing a passion–I’m one of those “scanner” people. That said, I don’t have an existing product or service I personally offer since I’m stuck on the “what”. My current employment has given me experience with quality control and training for call centers, management experience, and some IT (CRM and Knowledge Management) training.

    Hello Rodney,

I am a proactive person starting over
in my career after taking care of my father until he passed. I went back to
school and got certified in holistic health, healing, and spirituality, end of
life care, integrative health, and meditation.

I would love to teach mindfulness meditation to
seniors, hospital workers, or other stressed workers to improve their health.
Deepak Chopra recently published Super Brain with a neuroscientist from Harvard,
and it has been proven that mindful meditation can improve health and memory in
    many ways.

Most hospitals and agencies here do not have
funding for these pioneering ideas and I would love to be one of the recipients
of your information. I really need your expert guidance to help me get this
    important service started.

This is very kind of you. I’ve been stumped for over a year on how to leverage my talents to help people and make money in the process. I would love the opportunity to connect with you and help me unlock my potential. Thank you so much.

    Hi Rodney…thanks for doing this!

I work full time as an editor and want to transition to interior design & home staging. Currently I blog about it.

Because I’m a single mom, putting 1 of 2 kids through college, I need to get really creative about how I transition.

I’d love the opportunity to explore some options with you!

  16. Tonya Williams says

Well, #16, darn – looks like I wasn’t proactive fast enough.

I’m still interested in learning more about what you do. I’m a healing artist who wants to effectively share my gift with more people, and find quick, viable ways to fund my dreams. Can you help? Perhaps a barter?

    Hi Rodney,
I’m a photographer, visual artist, and graphic designer with websites, twitter accounts, Facebook, and an instagram feed. I’m looking to supplement our family’s income since the birth of my son. I have often thought of giving my services away in a pay-what-you-canoe highly alternative pay structure and am highly motivated to do business in unconventional ways to benefit other people. I think there are tons of ways to change up the current business model but I feel like a coach would be helpful to my clarity and focus. I would be happy to share website addresses, usernames, and more if you will email me at The Land of Yes at Gmail dot com. (no spaces!)

    Hi Rodney,
Thank you for responding to Chris’s request to offer something for free and offering your services to the cause. I am a mechanical engineer, employed to design and project manage fabrication and installations of new machinery and processes for heavy industries. I am currently on a journey of searching out my true passion, which has something to do with working directly with people, with the intent of breaking the employment mould and delivering my passion and making money put of it. Your offer is timely, and I am putting my hand up for help, as I see your story offers me hope. Cheers
    Tim

    Hi,
I am currently working at an office job with DES tracking down folks who do not pay their child support. Before this I spent the last decade with CPS but I was forced to leave when the job became overwhelming. My passion is definitely helping others and, while I do feel of service now, I am not happy being stuck in an office all day pushing paper. I would like to pursue something more tangible that would possibly give me more flexibility to spend time with my 12 year old son. So far, I have searched online for other jobs without much success. I am a single mom so I need something stable. I admit that I am paralyzed by fear. I would love to jump start a new career and would be thrilled to get assistance in connecting with a new source of income if there are still any spots open! I have also emailed you as requested.

Hi Rodney, I have worked as an independent consultant for project planning and evaluation in the not for profit sector. The work was not paid so well and the sector depends very much on personal relationships. currently I volunteer in an international organisation. My passion is strategy consulting, finding opportunities and strategies for businesses and organisations and I really want to create value so that I am well paid. Can you still inlcude me in your sample. I am ready for change.
