At the ripe old age of “17!” high school student Houston Gunn has accomplished more in seventeen years of life than most of us could possibly fathom in two, three, maybe even four times his age.
Raised by two loving entrepreneurial parents and an equally feisty entrepreneurial grandmother his family continually encouraged he and his older brother to be responsible for their own financial destiny.
From a very early age Houston was taught to ask for whatever he wanted in life and to never, ever, allow the word “no” to become a deterrent in going for his dreams.
Having a strong family support system that encouraged greatness Houston was destined for the success he now enjoys. Not one to rest on his laurels, Houston’s solid work ethic coupled with his tireless energy and a healthy attitude for money laid the foundation for his ever expanding platform.
With two published books under his belt this young man is on a mission to spread the word about his journey, not to brag or boast but to encourage his peers to think for themselves, to challenge the status quo, to actively seek opportunity, ask questions, listen and respect others more knowledgable than themselves and most importantly to act on the wisdom they acquire.
Has his efforts paid off? Let’s explore just a few of Houston’s accomplishments:
- He fell into modeling and later acting at the age of 4!
- Was awarded an international television commercial that provided the seed money to invest in his first real estate venture at the age of 13!
- Rolled his earnings from the original real estate deal into future investment opportunities at the age of 14.
- That same year he turned a school assignment – job shadowing an early real estate mentor – into a publishing opportunity for which this interview is based.
As a matter of fact, his first publishing endeavor was endorsed by non other than celebrity real estate mogul Donald Trump!
On the podcast he shares how he created the opportunity to interview “The Donald”, in addition to gaining access to other notable celebrities like country superstar singer Trace Adkins and entrepreneur mentor, rest estate mogul Barbara Corcoran of ABC’s Shark Tank just to name a few.
With the release of his second book Houston has more opportunities coming his way than he can count including the development of a web television series with a major Hollywood studio. More book and real estate investment deals on the horizon, oh, and did I mention he’s in pre-production for the launch of his music career?
Yes, a passionate musician he and his family recently relocated to Nashville Tennessee where his musical aspirations can flourish. Based on what you’ll hear today on the podcast I predict Houston he’ll launching his own record label in the not distant future.
