On todays episode I’m pleased to introduce you to Life Coach, Martial Artist, writer, speaker, husband and friend to many Oscar Perez.
Oscar is originally from El Paso Texas, but now calls the seaside community of Santa Cruz California home. He holds a PhD from Brown University, where he focused his research on identity development and cross-cultural storytelling.
A life-long martial artist, Oscar incorporates his knowledge of martial arts practice and philosophy into helping his clients overcome personal limitations and fears. His interdisciplinary approach is the foundation for a proven method of creating personal transformation and achieving massive success.
He envisions a world with strong leaders that believe in change. Who embody change by living their passion and using their natural talents to empower others. Finds the fire that resides inside themselves to overcome obstacles and make a difference.
Living lives full of fulfillment while creating opportunities for others to also be fulfilled, that’s what we’re going to talk about today on the podcast!
How to be true to ones self, find your passion and purpose especially in situations where you may be dealing with old family programming or current situations where you’re still heavily engaged in the day to day family dynamic affects your dreams.
Oscar Perez quote: “In our society, we have been taught that work equals purpose. Even worse, we have been taught that accumulating money and material possessions is the purpose of a successful life. The more we buy into this belief, the more bottomless the pit for money and things becomes.”

Steve Jobs Quote:
Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do. ~ Steve Jobs
